all business units in bank to enable true effective sourcing of
third party suppliers.
Led development and execution of innovative
“closed loop” strategy to eliminate spend leakage with projected
annualized run rate savings of approximately $50-70 million

Debit Card strategy
and led development and execution of innovative sourcing strategy
across entire debit card value chain (e.g. Brand Association,
Processor and Pin Network) to enable execution of business strategy
** Assisted
in development of origination technology strategy for Subprime
Mortgage Business and then conceived and led negotiations
with third-party supplier, including the development of a creative
risk management framework, to enable execution of strategy
** Head of Ventures and
Alliances,
focusing on the co-development and execution of Westpac’s
Accelerator Strategy (new business model investments), M&A
execution, developing the enterprise business process outsourcing
and outsourcing strategy and executing large outsourcing
transactions. Led negotiations of the then largest business process
outsourcing transaction in Australia (including developing and
implementing innovative bankruptcy remote structure to hedge against
operational risk failure)

primarily focusing on
public offering execution, including the first foreign
mortgage-backed securitization offering in the US, the first Tier 1
hybrid equity transaction by an Australian bank into the US market
and the first Global yen-denominated bond offering by a commercial
bank

part of team that developed and
traded Credit Default swap products for bank and responsible
globally for documenting complex transaction structures designed to
hedge on a micro and macro basis the portfolio risk associated with
the bank’s corporate bond and loan portfolios
